Local SEO Services
For The Map Pack.
Local SEO services are the work of getting a business to show up when people nearby search for what it sells. That means your Google Business Profile, your map-pack ranking, your citations and your reviews, on top of normal organic rankings. Go Rogue runs both.

The Map Pack And
Organic Are Different.
This is the single most useful thing to understand about local search, and most business owners have never had it explained.
When you search for a service with a location attached, Google shows you two separate things. At the top there is a map with three businesses listed under it. That is the map pack. Below it are the normal blue links. That is organic.
They are ranked by different signals. The map pack cares about your Google Business Profile, how close you are to the person searching, your review volume and rating, and whether your business details match across the web. Organic cares about your website: its content, its technical health and its links.
A business can own the map pack and be invisible in organic. It happens constantly. It can also rank first organically and never appear on the map, which is worse, because on a phone the map pack fills the screen before anything else.
Agencies that sell you one and call it local SEO are selling you half a job. We run both programs and report on them separately, so you can see which one is actually producing calls.

What Local SEO
Services Include.
Google Business Profile optimization
Your Google Business Profile is the listing that appears in the map pack and on the right side of branded searches. It is free, most businesses set it up once and never touch it again, and it is the highest-leverage asset in local search.
We fill out every field, pick the right primary and secondary categories, write the description, load real photos, set service areas and hours, and keep it current. Category choice alone moves rankings more than most owners expect. Pick the wrong primary category and you are competing in the wrong results.
Citations and NAP consistency
A citation is any place online that lists your business name, address and phone number. Those three details are called your NAP. Directories, chambers of commerce, industry listings and data aggregators all carry them.
Google cross-checks these listings to decide whether your business details are trustworthy. If one directory has an old suite number and another has a disconnected phone line, that uncertainty costs you map-pack position. We find the inconsistencies, fix them at the source, and build the citations you are missing.
Review generation and management
Review count and average rating are direct map-pack ranking factors, and they are the first thing a customer reads before calling. Most businesses have fewer reviews than their competitors simply because nobody asks.
We build a system that asks every satisfied customer at the right moment, routes unhappy ones to you privately first, and makes sure every review gets a response. Reputation management covers the full program if reviews are your main problem.
Local landing pages
If you serve more than one city, you need a real page for each one, and it has to say something specific. A page that swaps the city name into the same paragraph is thin content, and Google treats it that way.
We build pages with genuine local detail: the neighborhoods served, the work done there, local proof. See the cities we cover.
On-page local signals
Your site has to confirm what your profile claims. That means your NAP in the footer in crawlable text, LocalBusiness schema markup, embedded maps where they help, and service pages that name the areas you actually cover.
Local link building
Links from local sources carry weight that national links do not. Sponsorships, chambers, local news, suppliers and community organizations all count. These are slow to earn and difficult for a competitor to copy, which is exactly what makes them worth having.

Common questions
Local SEO
Questions.
What are local SEO services?
Local SEO services are the work of making a business visible to people searching nearby. The job has two halves: the map pack, which is driven by your Google Business Profile, reviews, citations and proximity to the searcher, and organic rankings, which are driven by your website. A full local program covers both.
How much should I pay for local SEO?
Local SEO costs less than national SEO because you are competing against a smaller set of businesses. Price is driven by how many locations or service areas you need to rank in, how bad your current citation and profile situation is, and whether the site itself needs repair first. A single location in an uncontested market is a fraction of a multi-city operation. We quote after the audit.
Can I do local SEO myself?
Yes, and you should start now regardless of who you hire. Claim your Google Business Profile, pick the most accurate primary category, add real photos, make sure your name, address and phone number match everywhere they appear, and ask every happy customer for a review. That handles most of what a small single-location business needs. The work gets specialized when you have several locations, a damaged citation history, or competitors actively investing.
What are citations in SEO?
A citation is any online mention of your business name, address and phone number, whether or not it links to your site. Directories, review sites, chambers of commerce and industry listings all count. Google uses them to confirm your business details are consistent, and inconsistent citations hold back map-pack rankings.
How long does local SEO take?
Google Business Profile changes can move map-pack position within two to four weeks, which is faster than organic SEO. Citation cleanup takes six to twelve weeks because third-party directories update on their own schedules. Competitive map-pack positions in a dense market take three to six months.
Why does my ranking change depending on where I am standing?
Because proximity is a ranking factor in the map pack. A business can be first when searched from two blocks away and eighth from across town. This is normal and it is why a single average rank number is useless for local. We track rankings by location across your service area instead.
Do you serve businesses outside my city?
Yes. We work in all 50 states and run local programs for single-location businesses, multi-location brands and service-area businesses that have no storefront at all. See where we work.
Do I still need regular SEO if I rank in the map pack?
Yes. The map pack shows three businesses. Organic results show ten, and they capture the searches that do not trigger a map at all, including research and comparison queries. Organic SEO is covered here.
